According to experts, only in Kyiv the need for new housing is about 15 million square meters. If the current pace of construction is maintained, developers will be able to satisfy this volume of demand only in 15−20 years. Given these figures, in 2022, developers will continue to actively build and commission new square meters. There are practically no unoccupied building sites in the capital. Therefore, the renovation of industrial zones is the direction that developers will develop most actively. Due to objective factors — transport interchanges, the availability of communications of the required capacity on the site — such projects are the most attractive for development," says Roman Gerasimchuk, director of City Development Solutions LLC.
